Lane, both in their 70s, died when their car was in collision with another vehicle at Morris - bank Corners. The Lane car was travelling south and was struck broadside by an east- bound vehicle on Highway 86. GORDON FARRELL and his wife, Mary, were seriously injured in this car at Morris - bank Corners when it was in collision with a Toronto car that took the lives of Mr. and Mrs, John Lane. Three other occupants of the Farrell car received minor injuries. W. R. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Zinn spent Tuesday of last week in Goderich, visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Zinn and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Zinn. Mr. William Jeffray, who has been employed at the Im- perial Bank of Commerce in Wroxeter, has been transferred to the Niagara branch. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Murphy re- cently attended the graduation exercises of nurses at St. Jos- eph's Hospital, London, held at Thames Hall in that city. Miss Judith Arlene Murphy, a niece of Mr. Murphy of God- erich, was one of the graduates and was also valedictorian. Mrs. Alex Sangster spent Tuesday of last week in Wing - ham, where she visited with friends for the day. Miss Jean Nielson of Toron- to visited with members of the Inglis family during the week- end. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Stein - back of Preston, spent the holi- day week -end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles O'Malley and with Mr. and Mrs. Pat Mur- phy, of the 2nd of Culross. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hohnstein and family were guests at the Borth -Reinhart wedding in For- mosa on Saturday. The groom is a nephew of Mr. Hohnstein. Mr. and Mrs. Don Poole of Kit- chener also attended the wed- ding and spent some time with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hohn - stein. Mrs. Walter Richardson and Mr. Wallace Richardson were guests at the wedding of Mrs. Richardson's only granddaughter Miss Elizabeth Stokes, and Mr. Richard Irwin of Kitchener, held in Gorrie Presbyterian Church on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jeffray and family were Sunday after- noon guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Worden and family, near Stratford. Rev. and Mrs. Douglas Steven and family visited on Sunday with Mrs. Steven's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Powell, who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Aitken and family of near Kincardine, attended Sunday School in the Presbyterian Church on Sunday and spent the remainder of the day with Mrs. Herb Burchill and family.
