At Meeting
BELGRAVE-The Eastermeet-
ing of the Messengers was held
on Sunday morning in the ju-
nior Sunday school room. The
attendance was marked and
the motto and Psalm 100 re-
peated. The theme was "Seek-
ing God's Help in Hard Places".
Mrs. Gordon Pengelly read
the story from the study book,
"The Little Mother". The offer-
ing was received by Dwight La-
mont. The leader read the
Easter Story and the children
colored pictures. The World
Friends were distributed and
the meeting closed with prayer.
GOODWILL CHAPTER
HAS DESSERT TEA
LAKELET-Goodwill Chapter,
Order of the Eastern Star, Clif-
ford, held a dessert tea in the
Library Hall at Harriston on
Saturday.
Receiving the guests were
Worthy Matron Mrs. Cecil Wil-
son of Fordwich, and Associate
Matron Mrs. Stewart Boyd of
R. R. 3 Clifford. Spring flowers
decorated the tea tables. Pour-
ing tea were past matrons of
the chapter.
The event was well -attend-
ed in spite of the inclement
weather.

BELGRAVE-The Explorers
met during rhe regular hour of
worship on Sunday. A hymn,
the purpose, motto and prayer
opened the meeting.
Mrs. Laura Johnston read the
second chapter from the study
book, "Each One Chooses",
and a discussion followed. Clay-
ton Bosrnan led the worship
wirh a hymn. Offering was re-
ceived by Donna Walker and
dedicated by Clayton. Scrip-
ture was read by Clayton and
the leader gave the closing
prayer,
Mary Anne Wheeler read
the minutes and recorded the
roll call. Ken Flapper reported
that the bake sale, held jointly
by Explorers and Messengers,
brought S'34,:)5 which will go
toward the mission project
which this year is for Brazil and
Trinidad. Birthday greetings
were sung to Carol Walker.
