Former Resident
Dies in Alabama
Mrs. Olive Pearl Forster of
836 So. '78th St., Birmingham,
Alabama, passed away Thurs-
day, February 25th at a local
hospital.
Mrs. Forster, the former Ol-
ive Pearl VanStone, a native of
Canada was a member of the
Episcopal Church of the Advent.
Funeral service was held Sunday
afternoon with Dr.John Turner
and Dr. John Harrison officiating.
Survivors include a daughter,
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Sinclair,
of Evanston, 111., and two sons,
Franklin VanStone Forster of
London and Roy H. Forster Jr. of
Birmingham. There are seven
grandchildren and one sister,
Mrs. Allan (Norma) Hobbs of
Galt.
Sister Dies
At Kincardine
Alex Reid, who is in Lon-
don for a few days, received
word that his sister, Mrs. Gor-
don Ruttle, passed away in Kin-
cardine Hospital on March 5.
The funeral was on Monday
from the McLennan funeral
home with interment in Ripley
Cemetery.
Mrs. Ruttle is survived by
two brothers, Alex Reid of
Wingham and Alfred of Sarnia.
Two sisters and a brother pre-
deceased her.
Face Charges
Two Hamilton men, Ger-
ald C.Shanks and John L. Dar-
roch have been charged with
theft, shooting birds out of sea-
son, and hunting without a lic-
ence.
They have been accused of
stealing a chain saw from a bush
in Grey Township and with the
other charges by Conservation
Officer Taylor of Brussels. Wing -
ham Provincial Police investiga-
ted.
