CARDS OF THANKS
The family of the late Mr.
James Paisley would like to
thank all the friends and
neighbors who helped in any
way at the time of their recent
bereavement. Special thanks
to Rev. G. L. Fish, Dr. B. N.
Corrin and Mr, Carter. 4*
We wish to express our
gratitude to each and everyone
who has helped us through
the days of sorrow with
beautiful flowers, words of
sympathy, and many acts of
kindness, and thanks to Dr.
Crawford, Mrs, Morrey and
staff of Wingham and District
Hospital, also Rev. Lowman,
Rev. G. Fish and the R, A.
Currie & Sons funeral home
for their needed advice and
,direction during our recent
bereavement.—Wm. Lediet and
family. 4b
I wish to thank everyone for
the kindness shown me 'during
my stay at the Wingham and
District Hospital. It was deep-
ly appreciated.—Mrs, Elmer B.
Walker. 4b
Mrs. Lloyd Whytock and
baby daughter would like to
thank the friends and ,neigh-
bors for their cards, gifts and
visits while we were in Wing -
ham and District Hospital. 4b
My sincere thanks to all my
friends and neighbors for their
kindness, visits and lovely
cards while I was a patient in
Wingham and District Hos-
pital. Special thanks to Drs.
Corrin and Klahsen and the
nurses on first floor.—Barry
Mulvey. 4*
I would like to express
through your paper my deep
appreciation for the help and
co-operation from so many to
my son, James, when he arriv-
ed immediately after the fire
at the laundrymat and myself
since I arrived home. Friends
like Jack Alexander, Perc
Clark, Norman Keating, Ken
Crawford, and the Wingham
contractors Don Wingfield,
Norman Rintoul and Square
Deal 'Construction, and many
others. It means a great deal
in time of trouble, I would
also like to say thanks to my
insurance agents, Cox & McMil-
lan and A, E. Wilson, Tor-
onto, and Ted Elliott, Wing -
ham. Also the insurance ad-
justor, James Armstrong, of
Morden & Helwig, Hanover.
These people were all fair .ar:d
I would say reasonable, Al-
though I expect a very con-
siderable overall loss, no one
was hurt and it could have
been .much worse. No one can
ever .hope to break even on a
fire. I am now ready to get
contractors working to get
back into business as quickly
as possible and I cannot see
any reason for delay, and ex-
pect one of the above contrac-
tors will be doing the work
and putting everything back
like it was before, the laundry
first, At time of writing I do
.not know which contractor will
do the work. Ladies shave pa-
tience, we are doing our best.
Once the contractor starts you
can keep the pressure on him
all you like. Very sincerely
yours.—R. E. McKinney, 4b
