has been put into operation at the Laidlaw
Farms Ltd., in Lower Wingham. The barn
houses 2,000 adult laying birds. The egg
production will be sold to a hatchery.

At the Boxing Day curling
bonspiel held in Wingham a
rink composed of John Nixon,
skip, Leslie Bolt, vice, Carmen
Nixon, second and Michael
Newton, lead was entered and
they were successful in winning
first prize in the 11 o'clock
draw.
On Christmas day visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. James Mi-
chie were Mr. and Mrs. Ross
Anderson and family, Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Grasby, Donna and
Mary and Mr. and Mrs. George
Michie, Ruth and Lloyd.

illness had to return home on
Christmas Day. Mrs. Jones re-
turned with him to spend a few
days.

the Christmas holidays with Mr.

Wed 25 Years
WROXETER-Mr. and Mrs. L.
W. Brothers entertained at a
dinner party at Danny's Restau-
rant on the occasion of their
25th wedding anniversary.
Friends were present from Wrox-
eter, London, Listowel, Kitch-
ener and Brussels. Mr. and Mrs.
Brothers now reside in Scar-
borough but were originally
from this locality.
