"A" Cubs Hold
Christmas Party
The regular meeting of A
Pack was held at the Scout
Elouse on Tuesday evening of
last week with 27 boys and four
leaders in attendance.
After the opening Grand
Bowl the Cubs joined in a
Christmas party. They sang
carols and played games. A
short film was shown on the
Scout Jamboree in Sussex, N. B.,
last August.
Chocolate milk, cookies and
ice cream were served and
there was an exchange of
Christmas gifts. The boys
found that sometimes Santa
behaves in mysterious ways.
The Cubs and leaders ex-
tended a hearty greeting to a
welcome visitor, Mrs. Edna
Fridenburg of Halifax. She
was visiting for the holiday sea-
son with her son, Murray Fri-
denburg, Akela of the pack.
The meeting closed with the
Grand ilowi and the Queen. As
the boys left for home they
received a small treat of candy
and apples.
The Cubs and leaders of
Pack A wish to take this oppor-
tunity to wish everyone a bright
and happy New ?ear.
—and best wishes for success and happiness,
