attended the annual meeting
of Farmers Allied Meat Enter-
prises Co -Operatives Limited,
as a voting delegate from
Huron County, which was held
at the Seaway Hotel m Toronto
last Wednesday. FAME pur-
chased the Fearm;in packing
plant at Burlington two months
ago, and is now operating very
successfully.
SUCCESSFUI, BAZAAR
RLUFVALF-A very success-
ful haste sale and tea was held
in the school room of Knox
Presbyterian Church on Friday
by the Ladies Aid of the church.
Candles and Christmas decor-
ations made a pleasing setting.
First grade girl to her father:
"Paddy, I need 50 cents to take
to school today."
"What for?"
"My teacher is resigning,
and we're raising money to
give her a little momentum."

years, four years as chairman during one of the ex-

Friends Will Miss King MacDonald
BLUEVALE-The recent death
of King MacDonald at Montreal
is regretted by many friends in
Bluevale and vicinity.
Born in Bluevale, King
spent his early life here and
attended Bluevale Schooi and
Wingham High School.
He made an annual visit to
Bluevale, spending at least
