Zurbrigg at FAME Meeting LAKFLi:T-Warren Zurbrigg attended the annual meeting of Farmers Allied Meat Enter- prises Co -Operatives Limited, as a voting delegate from Huron County, which was held at the Seaway Hotel m Toronto last Wednesday. FAME pur- chased the Fearm;in packing plant at Burlington two months ago, and is now operating very successfully. SUCCESSFUI, BAZAAR RLUFVALF-A very success- ful haste sale and tea was held in the school room of Knox Presbyterian Church on Friday by the Ladies Aid of the church. Candles and Christmas decor- ations made a pleasing setting. First grade girl to her father: "Paddy, I need 50 cents to take to school today." "What for?" Mrs. Pearl Patterson and Miss Leslie Campbell visited Saturday with Mrs. Robert Campbell in Guelph Hospital. Mrs. Ross Barrons and Miss Ar- dvth Campbell of Cordova Mines, and Mr. Willoughby Patterson of Cooksville also visited with Mrs. Campbell. Mrs. William Sothern, Miss Sharon Elliott and Gary Sothern spent Monday in Kitchener. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Klaassen spent one day last week at Lon- don and Aylmer. Mr. Earl Ridley of London visited over the week -end at his home here. Mr, and Mrs. Harvey Bride Personais and Peter of Don Mills visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Doig, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hambly attended the funeral on Satur- day of the late Iv11. Harold Townsend. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce William- son and Barbara of London spen' the week -end here Mrs. Em- ma Williamson, who has been in London the past few weeks, returned home with them. Miss Louise Matthews, who has been confined to K & W Hospital, Kitchener, the past two weeks, returned home last week. Mr. and Mrs. Wellington Hargrave, Douglas and David, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. E. Hargrave in Listowel. Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Hoff- man of Harriston were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Campbell. Sunday visitors with Mr. . and Mrs. Anson Demerling were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bode and Mr. and Mrs. Cor Rouw Friends Will Miss King MacDonald BLUEVALE-The recent death of King MacDonald at Montreal is regretted by many friends in Bluevale and vicinity. Born in Bluevale, King spent his early life here and attended Bluevale Schooi and Wingham High School.
