Mrs. J. Anderson
Dies in West
The death occurred on
Tuesday, October 27, in Moose
Jaw, Saskatchewan of Nancy
Anderson, widow of John Ander-
son of Craik, Saskatchewan,
She was the former Nancy Webb
daughter of the late William
Webb and Nancy Gould of the
St. Helens district.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by
one daughter, Mrs. R. Gray
of Moose Jaw, two sons, Chas.
and John Crawford of Craik and
three brothers, William of
British Columbia, Fred of Luck -
now and George A. of Wing -
ham and District Hospital.
She was predeceased by one
brother, John and sisters (Mar-
garet) Mrs. James Bryon and
(Elizabeth) Mrs. Frank Grain.
Burial was in Craik on Sat-
urday, October 31,
Turnberry Twp.
Farmer Dies
Clarence William Howe, 61,
of Turnberry Township, died
Thursday in Wingham Hospital
after a short illness.
He was born in Putnam, Ont.
and moved from there to his
Turnberry Township farm three
years ago..
Mr. Howe was an adherent
of the United Church.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Wilma Turetzek; five
sons, David, Donald and George
all at home, Glen of Harriets-
ville, Ont. and Ivan of Inger-
soll; a daughter, Mrs. Roy
(Evelyn) Hollingshead of Inger-
soll; a brother, Charles of
Woodstock; and a sister, Mrs.
Rae (Elsie) Fcrguson of Spring-
field.
The body rested at the S. J.
Walker funeral home, where
the funeral service was conduct-
ed at 2 p.m. Saturday by Rev.
C. M. Jardine. Burial was in
Wingham Cemetery.

manufacturing a series of truck cabs for
the Four Wheel Drive Corporation at Kit-
chener. Berry Door general manager, Her -

bert Burgess, is pictured with one of the
cabs prior to shipment. The unit weighs
well over 1,000 pounds and- is fitted to a
Large truck at the Kitchener plant. -A -T.
MADE IN WINGHAM - While it doesn't
bear much resemblance to a garage door,
the cab on the large truck pictured above
was made at the local plant of the Berry
Door Co., Ltd. Made for the Four Wheel
Drive Corporation, the cab was completely
designed and manufactured at the Wing -
ham plant. Eleven of the units are or
order at the moment and it is expecte

Legion Attends Sunday Service
Members of Branch 180, Roy-
al Canadian Legion and the La-
dies' Auxiliary paraded to the
Presbyterian Church on Sunday
morning for the service com-
memorating Remembrance Day.
The parade was led by the
Teeswater Pipe Band. George
Tervit Jr. was the parade mar -
shall. Sgt. -at-Arms Ian Ed
wards was in charge of the col-
or party, ti. ith Mrs. Bob Irvine
and Mrs. Alvin Seli carrying
the Auxiliary colors and Alvin
Seli and Vernon Ducharme rep-
resenting the branch.
Mrs. Seli and Mrs. Irvine
presented the Auxiliary's new
Red Ensign to Rev. G. L. Fish
for dedication.
Mr, Fish gave a Remem-
brance Day meditation as his
sermon. DeWitt Miller, chap-
lain of the branch read Scrip-
ture and David Crothers, presi-
dent, also assisted in the ser-
vice.
The choir, directed by H.
V. Pym, sang the anthem,
'Arm of the Lord, Awake" with
Gordon Leggatt taking the solo
art and Mrs. Betty Feagan and
Tohn Day singing the duet.
RECEIVE AWARDS -Top honours at the Waterloo Cattle
Breeders' Annual Award Night, held at Arthur Obtober 29,
were won by technicians serving this area. Left to right
are: Willard Lark, Mildmay; Norman McKee, Teeswater;
Wm. Mulvey, Belmore; Leonard Fischer, Mildmay, and Al-
fred Kieffer, Walkerton. They were awarded the WCBA
Challenge Trophy shown for group achievement in furth-
ering artificial insemination in their service area. In ad-
dition individual awards for outstanding effort were re-
ceived by Norman McKee, Len Fischer and Bill Mulvey.
This is the second straight year that the Challenge Trophy
has been won by this group of men who make their head-
quarters at Formosa. Seven other WCBA staff groups
were included in the competition. -Released by Waterloo
