CONFEDERATION MEDAL
ON DISPLAY
A very rare medal com-
memorating the Confederation
of Canada in 1867 will be on
display at the 3rd Annual Coin
Exhibition sponsored by the Hu-
ron County Numismatic Society
at the Elm Haven Motor Hotel,
Sunday afternoon.
The medal is approximately
four inches in diameter and a
quarter inch thick, and is made
out of solid silver. It is believ-
ed that now only a few exist,
due to the fact that most of
them have been melted down
for their silver content.
Last year the Club's 2nd an-
nual exhibition was an astound-
ing success, and the executive
this year is looking forward to
another excellent show.
