Ro- land Henderson of Kingsville, formerly of Wingham and Lon- don. The funeral was held from the Needham funeralhome in London. Mr. and Mrs. George Nes- b:t and family of Walton visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs, Ted Fear and family. Visitors on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Coultes were Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Mitchell of Rothsay and Mr. and Mrs. Russel Wacker of Goderich. The public relations meet- ing of the Belgrave Women's Institute will be held in the Community Centre on Tuesday November 17, at 2:15 in the afternoon. Convener, Mrs. Ivan Wightman. Guest speaker will be Mrs. Donald Riehl, dis- trict president. Trousseau Tea For Miss P. Logan BELGRAVE—A trousseau tea was held at the home of Mrs.. Cliff Logan last Wednesday for her daughter, Miss Patricia Lo- gan. Showing the gifts and the trousseau were Mrs. Jun Taff of London, Miss Shirley. Ellis, of Wingham, Miss Jim Carter, Londesboro and Miss Sharon Vincent, London. Pouring tea in the afternoon were Mrs. Les Vincent and Mrs. Don Schueneman of Lon- don, Miss Nancy Anderson and Miss Gail Ma' berry served and Mrs. Cliff Purdon, Mrs. Clarence Hanna, Mrs. Laura Johnston and Mrs. Henry Sell- ing helped in the :.itchen. In the evening Mrs. Harold Vincent and Mrs. Roy Mac - Sween, both of Belgrave and aunts of the bride, poured tea. Helping in the kitchen were Mrs. Lawrence Vannan, Mrs. Ross Robinson and Mrs. Ross Anderson. Miss Doreen Anderson and Miss Kelly Schueneman took charge of the guest book and showed the guests upstairs. CGIT Meeting BELGRAVE—The C.G.I. T. meeting was held in the church basement on last Wednesday. The secretary's report was gi- ven by Audrey Coultes. Church and Sunday School attendance was recorded and Marilyn Tay- lor gave the treasurer's report. The UNICEF boxes were col- lected. Committees for the next meeting will be: worship, Wendy Fear; games, Joan Bos- man; sing -song, Donna Grasby. The sing -song was led by Wen- dy Fear. The group then di- vided for the mission study. Janette Johnston led the wor- ship service and opened with a meditation. Scripture passages were read by Brenda VanCamp, followed by prayer by Janette. Offering was received by Mary Ellen Walsh and Rhonda Fear. "0 Jesus I Have Promised" was sung. The rally, which included groups in the Teeswater-Walkerton area, was chaired by thepresi- dent for the area, Mrs. Nor- man Belfry of Walkerton. Rev. D. Fry of Cargill United Church extended words of welcome. Members of the Walkerton society were in charge of the worship service. The litera- ture secretary of the area's U.C.W. , Mrs. Krug of Chesley, discussed the variety of study books, program planning aids, and other literature available to the members. Mrs. Maitland, of the Hamilton Conference of the United Church, spoke about audio-visual aids for programs and gave other suggestions for monthly meetings of church or- ganizations. Roll call was answered by each branch giving the high- lights of the past year's meet- ings. Tea was served by the Cargill ladies. Members attending from Belmore were Mrs. Wilfred Jo- hann, Mrs. Harry Mulvey, Mrs. Joseph Simmons, and Mrs. Alex Sangster. WROXETER Mr. and Mrs. Dean Karn and family were in Hanover Sunday where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Robert Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Toman and family of Kitchener were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. Ross Toman. The warden's banquet for the County of Huron was held last Wednesday evening in North Street United Church, Goder= ich, in honor of Warden and Mrs. Ralph Jewell. Those at- tending from Howick Township were Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Has- kins, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gib- son, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gow- dy, Mr, and Mrs. Art Gibson and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Mc- Michael. FOR.
