Rev. Gordon L. Fish, minis-
ter of St, Andrew's Presbyterian
Church, officiated for the eve-
ning wedding of Marilynn Gail
Ritchie and Douglas Howard
Lapp in Wingham United
Church on Friday.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. David A. Ritchie of Wing -
ham and the late Mr. Ritchie.
The groom's parents are Mr.
and,Mrs. Willis Lapp, also of
Wingham.
George Goodfellow of Tees -
water gave his niece in marri-
age. She wore a floor -length
peau de soie gown with chapel
train that swept into dramatic
fullness at the back, and caught
by a large back flout at the
empire waistline. The bodice
was richly adorned with a pearl
jewelled motif and featured
lily -point sleeves and bateau
neckline. Her spider veil of
nylon tulle was caught by a
matching pearl flout and she
carried Shasta daisies and ivy.

Mrs. Mac Ritchie, sister-in-
law of the bride, matron of
honor, wore a floor -length
sheath of gold peau satin with
correlative accessories. The
junior bridesmaid, Miss Olive
Lapp, sister of the groom, wore
a similar gown.
Mac Ritchie was best man.
The ushers were Brian Ireland
of Teeswater and Donald Gurn-
ey of Burlington.
Mrs. Carl Douglas was the
organist. As the bride entered
the church the guests s a ng
"Praise My Soul, the King of
Heaven". Before the ceremony
and during the signing of the
register, Miss Mary Haugh and
Miss Maty Joan Lapp sang "0
Perfect Love" and " The Wed-
ding Prayer".
A reception was held atDan-
ny's Restaurant. The bride's
mother received. She wore a
toast brocade dress with brown
accessories and a corsage of
yellow roses. The groom's
