Mrs. Ivan Laidlaw and baby daughter returned home on Saturday from Wingham and District Hospital. Her mother, Mrs. John Crowston of Lang - side spent Saturday with her, Mrs. Maude Haggitt of Brussels returned on Saturday from Brussels to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson where she will spend the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emer- son attended the receptionheld for Mr, and Mrs. Murray Mc- Farlane, newlyweds, in Blue - vale Hall on Friday evening, On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. James McInnes received word of the arrival in Wingham Hos- pital, of a baby girl to Mr. and Mrs. George Stanley, (former- ly Ann McInnes) of Lucknow. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ross on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas McQueen of Toronto, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Ross, Eric and Cameron of Bluevale. The date of the Belgrave W, NI. S. Mrs. Oliver Kirk, Birming- ham,' Mich., .spent the week- end with Mr. and Mrs. Dustan Beecroft and on Sunday Mr. Beecroft returned with her for his last week as a patient at Victoria Hospital, London, Mr. Elwin Moore accompanied them to London to return to the University of Western Ontario.
