September
Wanderlust
W HITECHURCH-Golden
days of September, with trees
touched by scarlet and yellow
bring out the gypsy in most of
us. So it was one day recently
with two grade II pupils of S, S,
No. 10, when their class was
dismissed at rnoon recess,
Lawrence Norman and Ron-
nie Soloman decided it was a
nice day to go to the lake and
swinging their lunch kits, set
off on Highway 86 to thurnl a
ride.
Tom Morrison passed the
boys on his way to Lucknow.
Knowing he would be return ng
shortly, he decided to let
them weary themselves wit
walking so they would fet.1
ready for home by the time he
got back. However, on the re-
turn trip he met the pair riding
in a car.
Mr. Morrison inferriec' the
parents. They soon had the
lads home where, no dou'ra.
the gypsy instinct was eu:v d
for the time being.
