Mrs. Wm. Spotton
Dies in Ottawa
GORRIE-Mrs. William Spot -
ton, 90, of Toronto, formerly
of Howick Township died Fri-
day, September 20, in an Ot-
tawa hospital. Mrs. Spotton
fractured her leg while visiting
her daughter, Mrs. Stanley
Roadhouse, in Ottawa. She had
been in hospital about two
months.
Mrs. Spotton was the daugh-
ter of the late John Cathers and
his wife, Mary Brown. Her
husband predeceased her in
1950.
Surviving are three :.ons,
Arthur and William of Toronto
and Harris of Windsor; one
daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Marie'
Roadhouse of Ottawa and f`ve
grandchildren.
Funeral service was held
Sunday in Toronto, conducted
by Rev. MacFarlane. Pall-
bearers were Roy Strong, :?tan -
ley Roadhouse, Murray Spotton
Robert Spotton, Donald Strip -
neck and William Spotton.
Burial was in Gorrit cemetery
on Monday.

attended the funeral of Jac
Stacey's sister, Mrs. Jean Percy
at Buffalo, N.Y. on Monday.
Mrs. Percy was formerly
Jean Stacey. Her husband pre-
deceased her on July 3rd of this
year. She is survived by three
sons and three daughters and
several grandchildren.
