The result was a bad odor from decaying weeds in the pond. The boards were replaced at the end of the week and the water level is again up to normal. Gibson of }Taniil- Film Shown At Meeting WROXETER-The regular meeting of the United Church Women was held Wednesday in the Sunday school. Mrs. Rae Louttit and Mrs. George Gibson read the respon- sive devotional order of service followed by prayer. Miss Carol Louttit was pianist, A piano solo, "Four Strong Winds" was played by Miss Jean Adams. An interesting and educational film, "The Be- loved Surgeon", was shown and Mrs. Laurie VanVelsor gave the filth script, This showed the work of Dr. Paul W. Brand among the lepers of In- dia and how he cured them so they were able to work again. Mrs, Vern Hupfer conducted the business and the tneeting was closed with prayer, follow- ed by a delicious lunch served by the harmony Unit, ton are visiting Misses Elsie and Marion Gibson. Hart have returned home following an enjoyable two weeks spent at their trailer at Port Elgin. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Towns- end of Belwood, Mrs. Myrtle Ibbotson of St. Thomas, Mrs, John Black of Belwood and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Mitchell of Molesworth were week -end visitors with Mrs. Harold Townsend. The friends of Mr. Harold Townsend will be sorry to hear he is a patient in Wingham anc District Hospital.
