Gordon Wrinht, near Lakelet, has been
severe. The :wrens attack the grain by
cutting off the heads. In one of Mr.
Wright's grain fields the ground is covered
with the fallen grain. He estimates a 75
percent loss.

Mrs. Amos Denny gathered at
Stanley Park in Erin ori Sunday.
They were from Owen Sound,
Tillsonhurg, Guelph, Acton,
Preston, Fergus, Baden,. Norval,
Erin and Fordwich.
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Denny
were host and hostess. 'The
youngest boy and girl were
Billy Mooney arid Corrinne
Denny. Newt year the reunion
will be held in Elora.

4-H Bus Tour
BEI MORE -About 260 •I-11
club members of 1luron County
went on a bus tour on Tuesday
of last week. About 15 young
people from the Belmore area
were among the group.
They travelled to London
and toured the University of
Western Ontario and the Coca-
Cola plant. They then visited
a farm in the St. Thomas area
and the Canada Clark Industrial
plant near St. Thomas. After
their tours they enjoyed a bar-
becue supper in St. Thomas.
