Mr. and Mrs. Mt Wheeler, accompanied by Mrs, Alex Shinn of Wingham, were in Hamilton on Tuesday where they visited the former's broth- ers, Gordon and Charles Wheel- er and sister, Mrs, Ernest Mor- gan. Master Brian and Miss Cheryl' Mason of Sarnia are vacation- ing with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Wheeler for the past few weeks. Mr. Ro- bert Mason spent the week -end at the same home. Wingham Advance-Tinies, Thursday, July 23, 1964 - 'age 3 BARN DESTROYED -Mac Sanderson's large barn on Con. C, Howick, was the victim of a fire on Wednesday of last week that levelled the 64 x 64 foot structure. Four MORRIS FEDERATION MEETS AT PARK BELGRAVE-The directors of the Morris Township Federation of Agriculture met at the Fed- eration Park on Thursday eve- ning for a wiener roast. Later a short business meeting was held and several committees were appointed. Mel Mathers and Harold Johnston were appointed to get two more tables, and a brand made and to see that all tables and property of the park is branded. Stan Hopper and Ted Fear were named to see about getting the sand. Ted Fear and Jim Spivey will meet with the Morris Council in August to see about a grant and other matters. Fordwich Personals Miss Valerie Baylor of Bur- lington visited the past week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray- mond Baylor. Mr, and Mrs, Clifford Bar- low and family enjoyed a four days' trip through the no r t h country as far as North Bay. Mrs. John King, Randy and Roger, spent last week with and Mrs. Elmer Bellamy in Bellwood. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Willi- amson, Linda and Joanne en- joyed a motor trip for ten days to Calgary and Banff, and took in the Calgary stampede. Tuesday was a busy day for Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Nickel, whose four children, Rosemary, Jacqueline, Terese, and Wayne had their tonsils out in Bruce County Hospital, Walkerton. Lloyd Fitzpatrick and W. A. Dobson of New Westminster, B.C. , visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Jordan in Fordwich last week. Mr, and Mrs, Richard Ald- rich of Galt were week -end guests with Mr. and Mrs. Stan Bride.
