RALLY 'ROUND THE FLAG The history of mankind is closely associated with the his- tory of flags. For centuries, most countries, states, cities, (and even many families)have had their distinctive flag orem- blem. The history of flags can be traced back at least to the time of Moses and Aaron, who were commanded, "Each man shall pitch (his tent) by his own standard, with the ensign of his father's house." 7 UFE'S SO MUCK MORE FUN SINCE I'YE BEEN TAKING VITAMINS FROM VAN C E'S PUPILS AT U.S,S. 7, the old Fordyce School in 1890 from left, seated: Altace Tisdale, Ella Foran, Margaret Leishman, Miss Ga- venlock, teacher, with Millie Mason on her knee, Jimmy Steen, Ellen Leishman and Agnes Mason.
