Each July, in an outdoor setting, "The Jasper Story" plays before capacity audiences for ten evening performances. With a cast of Jasper citizens and summer employees, the show has received excellent reviews and response from professional critics and audiences alike. A Paradise For Fishermen Jasper is one of the few Na- tional Parkswhere sports angl- ing is improved each year and, as the efficient local hatchery (a place to visit) reclaims and stocks more water, thefuture possibilities are almost unlim- ited. A nominal license fee permits you to fish in all mountain National Parks. Six varieties of Trout are caught by local anglers and there are also Northern Pike, Rocky Mountain Whitefish and some Arctic Grayling. Thirty-five streams and 50 lakes in the Park yield fish. Most trout are taken in small land -locked lakes, As the streams are gla- cial, they are best in Spring and Autumn. Bring your fa. vorite tackle and fish your fa- vorite method because out trout can be caught by fly, spirt, troll or still fishing, If you have no tackle, your choice can easily be rented locally. chandise, In Canada, too, ma- ny of the imported goods like china, sportswear, anglers' sup- plies and cameras are below the prevailing prices la t uited States, WHITECHURCH Miss Trudy Allen and Mr. Wayne Henry of Toronto visit- ed with Mr, and Mrs, Carl Mc- Clenaghan.
