Sothern visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Harper Wood at Rostock. Mr. and Mrs. Tom McCle- ment and Kenneth, Miss Betty McClement, and Mr. Paul Schaefer visited Sunday with the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. T, J. Schaefer in Brant- ford, Mr. Les Norris of Brantford spent the week -end at hishome here. Mr, and Mrs. Willoughby Patterson and children of Cooksville were Sunday visitors with Mrs, Pearl Patterson. Young People Conduct Service BLUEVALE-A special Young People's service was held in Knox Presbyterian Church on Sunday morning with a splendid congregation in attendance. Eighteen members of the Young People's Society made up the choir and sang "How Great Thou Art". Charles Congram sang "I Believe" and Joanne Elliott and Susan Worm- ington sang, "Whispering Hope". Pat Ross read the Old Tes- tament lesson and Hugh Mun- dell read the New Testament Scripture. Douglas Thomas led the congregation in the Lord's Prayer, Rev, T. E. Kennedy preach- ed an eloquent sermon on the young man who was the black sheep of the family - " The Prodigal Son".
