Institute met ou Thursday eve-
ning in the Cotntnunity Centre
The meeting opened with the
Opening Ode and the Mary
Stewart Collect,
The District Annual will he
held in Kincardine on May 27.
Voting delegates, Mrs. E.
Jeffray and Mrs. Ilarry Mulvey
were appointed.
Mrs. WalterWoods convened
the meeting. Four girls from
Belmore school sang, Phyllis
McKague, Jean llolinstein,
Margaret Jeffray, and Lois Dar-
ling, The roll call was an-
swered by "How to be prepared
for unexpected company".
Girls of the two 4-11Clubs,
with their leaders, displayed
their blouses. The Delmore
Group, The Faithful Four, had
Mrs. Oscar Kieffer as leader.
Mrs. Doug McPherson and Mrs.
L. Metcalfe led the second
group of nine girls, "Belinore
Wardrobe Wizards". The
name of the project was "A
Well Planned Wardrobe for a
Certain Occasion".
Corinne Kieffer gave com-
ments for her group, Margaret
Jeffray introduced the skit
"ltarrnony Discords and Har-
monizers". Taking part were
Cheryl Haskins, Phyllis Mc-
Kague, Jackie Goldriett, Doris
Stokes, Connie Cameron,
Brenda Wallace, Phyllis Pace,
Marjorie Eadie.
Mrs. D. Eadie reported on
the Guelph conference, the
theme of which was "To Whom
much is given, of him much
will be required". She gave
very interesting highlights on
the conference.
The motto, "high Tension"
was prepared by Mrs. Harry
Mulvey and was read by Mrs.
W. Woods. The offering went
to "Pennies for Friendship",
Wrs. Woods conducted a
contest. Lunch was served by
the committee in charge.
