Mrs. Pyrn was pre- sented with a bracelet. The address to Mr. Pym was read by Gordon Leggatt and ex- pressed the appreciation of the congregation and church bodies for his long and faithful service. Mr. Pym came to Wingham from Listowel United Church and played his first service in St. Andrew's on Mother's Day 25 years ago. Pym was hon- oured in London when he was made a member of the Royal Canadian College of Organists. Service Held At Brussels for Miss E. Wright Miss E. Elizabeth Wright passed away in the Queen Eliz- abeth Hospital, Toronto, on May 1, in her Stith year. She was horn in Grey Town- ship, a daughter of the late William 11. Wright and Rosina Wheeler. She leaves to mourn one brother, :tarry Wright of Morris Township and a sister, 'Mrs. Leslie (Dorothy) Bolton of Iles- peler. There are also three nieces and a nephew. Funeral service was held at the Anglican Church of Trans- figuration, Toronto on Satur- day, May 2 and then to the D. A. Rann funeral home at Brus- sels where service was held on Sunday. Rev. Mitchell of Bluevale United Church offici- ated. Interment followed in Wroxeter Cemetery. The pallbearers were Joseph McGovern, Roy Crawford, James McPherson, Charles Wicks, all of Toronto and Har- ris Campbell and Glen Johnston of Morris Township. Mr. Pym has been organist for 25 years. Col Vickars. Captain J. T, Goodall present- ed the 99th Battery trophy to Cdt. Capt. David Wenger who was top marksman of the year. Cadet Tom Rowe received the award as best dressed cadet on parade, presented by Principal F, E. Madill. Lieut. Andersor presented crests to the mem- bers of the Dominion of Cana- da Rifle Association team who had scored over '240 points. They were David Wenger, top scorer; Fraser Strong, John Ed- ward, Keith Scott, Jim Na - smith, Bill Jarvis, Gordon Smith, Barry Scott and Rod Cameron. One of the highlights of the inspection was the demonstra- tion by a precision drill squad under WO2 David Krauter and the cadet corps drum and bugle hand drew a great deal of at- tention. The bandmaster was Cadet WO2 Barry Thompson and training had been handled by Lieut. Robert Vivian. The band was smartly turned out in blue uniforms with white web equipment. Demonstrations in national survival were put on by a group of boys who constructed a tri- pod and an A -frame, both used in rescue operations. De- monstrations in first aid were put on by Bravo Troop under Lt. Ron Deyell, Still another demonstration was presented by the signals section. MAY 16th — 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ST.
