:. Need Visitors
For Patients at
Onto Hospital
The Ontario 1 Eospital at God-
rich appeals to readers of this
paper for hospital visitors,
:lane of the patients never
receive visits and are lonely
people. Dr. D. H. Moo ,k has
written to the Advance -Times
with a su g,estion from mem-
bers of his staff.
They would like to find se-
veral people of any age, edu-
cation or occupation who would
"adopt" one patient each for
regular visits, and perhaps tak-
ing the patient for walks, etc.
There would be opportunities
for visitors to discuss with the
staff problems they may have
in rhe relationship and ideas
for helping the patient towards
• recovery.
If anyone is interested in
this worthwhile project call
Miss Tadeson at Goderich,
524-7331, Local 5 or write di-
rectly to Dr. Moogk, assistant
. superintendent.

Editor,
Advance- Times,
Dear Sir, -
Just recently there appeared
in your paper a copy of a pic-
ture postcard of Wingharn High
School students taken at the
Zurbrigg studio. Two of the
members were unidentified.
The first one was Sadie Gal-
lagher and the second one, my-
self, A. Inglis, now Mrs. J. W.
Smith. The picture is at least
40 years old.

Rev. Johnson Talks
On Mission Appeal
The regular monthly meet-
ing of St. Paul's livening Guild
was held in the church hall
last Tuesday evening. The
meeting was in charge of the
president, Mrs. Robt. Vivian.
The openinf; hymn was fol-
lowed by the Scripture reading
and prayer. Roll call was an-
swered by each :umber giving
her husband's name, place of
business and members of the
family. This proved interest-
ing, linking together families
and their interests.
Members presant agreed to
assist with a donation of money
toward the repairing of the
floor of the chureh, which is to
be done this sprine, and is ur-
gently required. The amount
will be passed at a future meet-
ing when the expense isknown.
Rev. C, F. Johnson spoke on
the Anglican World Mission Ap-
peal, at present being under-
taken by the Canadian church
along with all Anglican chur-
ches around the world. This
fund is to help relieve the suf-
fering of those ' ss fortunate
than ourselves, and is given
out as an appeal to the indivi-
dual to offer assistance for
this very necessary cause,
Two excellent films were
presented. Mrs. Alvin Higgins
read the introductory script and
the projector was operated by
Alvin Higgins. The film,
"Little Man Stand Tall" and
"North American Neighbors",
were most interesting and
showed clearly how the accep-
tance of a Christian life can
help to grow strong in charac-
ter and faith.
