BELGRAVE CUBS 1st Belgrave Cute Pack met in the communing centre on Tuesday with a good number of Cubs present and three leaders. Akehla (Mrs. Ken Wheeler) opened with the Grand Howl, followed by the Lord's prayer in unison. For inspection the Tawny Six had the most points and their sixer, Douglas Walker placed their pennant on the totem pole. For instruction Bagherra (Mrs. Gordon McBurney) taught the New Chums, Baloo (Mrs. Harold Vincent) taught semaphore to those working for their stars. Eadie of Toronto was the special spea- ker. --Mrs. Laura Gowdy has returned after spending ten days at O.H.A. at Don Mills, taking a hospital housekeeping course. leaders led in games and the meeting closed with Taps.
