Lyle Murray Heads Howick Federation LAKELET-The annual meet- ing of the Howick Township Federation of Agriculture was held at the Howick Central School on Thursday, with a good attendance. The president, Jack Ferguson was in the chair. Cliff Robb, CKNX farm editor, was the guest speaker, and stressed the great need for farm organiza- tion in his inspiring address. Carl Hemingway of Brussels spoke on the progress being made by Farmers Allied Meat Enterprises and Elmer Ireland of Wingham gave a report on Co-operators Insurance. At 4-H Meeting Calf Club Organized The organizational meet- ing of the Turnberry 4-H Calf Club was held in Wingham District High School last Wed- nesday. Literature and ma- terial for the club year were distributed. The election of officers took place with results as fol- lows: President, Joe Jeffrey of R.
