Revolver Club
Elects Officers
The annual meeting of the
Wingham Revolver Club was
held recently in the Wingham
Sportsmen's Association club
house, when it was decided
that the organization should be
constituted as a separate club.
Membership in the Sportsmen's
Club will no longer be neces-
sary to belong to the revolver
group.
Members will, however, be
required to join the Ontario

set at $10.00, of which $5.00
goes to the ORA,
It was decided at the meet-
ing that the building formerly
occupied as the Holmdale
Creamery would be fitted out
as a shooting range and a com-
mittee composed of Eric Col-
lins, Dave Cameron, Irvine
Bowes and Mac Sewers were
named to draw up the by-laws
for the club.
Officers elected were: Pres.,
Mac Sewers; vice-pres., Tom
Jardin; sec. , Terry Nethery;
treas., Clarence Borho; chief
range officer, John Marks;
membership, Don Biggs; lunch
convener, Harvey Carrick.
Since the meeting most of
the work in the formar cream-
ery building has been com-
pleted. The club plans to hold
a shoot there every Wednesday
evening at 8 o'clock.

COMMERCIAL LEAGUE
January 28, 1964
Things were quieter than
usual for awhile tonight as
several of our Regulars were ab-
sent. It seems our President
had quitte a time rounding up
spares, but as usual, Vicki
Wild, Elaine Colvin, Helen
Casemore, Hilda,Brown, Jim
Deneau and Jack Walker all
came to our rescue. Sure is
great to have such willing
friends to fill in for us. They do
well too, as Helen Casemore
took the ladies' High single
with 2r;t, as well as the high
triplewith 705. Hilda Brown,
bless her, howled in place of
one of our men and took the
men's high single with 282.
Ernie Walker took the triple
with 719. Pretty good scores,
what?
Team standings: Hurons 81;
Sioux 80; Crees 79; Iroquois
75; Apaches 41:; Mohawks 41.
For all that the Apaches axle
Mohawks are draggin' their
moccasins, don't you belie e
that they are giving up. Just
take a look and you will see
they are still in there pitchin'.
Good sportsmanship is the Coni-
mercial League motto, and it
is most noticeable in this group.
Sure glad I joined: :1

not diamond studded it appear-
