April lst, 1904.
It was decided to cater for
the lunch for the euchre and
dance sponsored on January 17
by S. S. No. 10 in the White-
church Community Memorial
Hall.It was decided to have a
variety program and a record
hop and square dance after the
program on February 7th in the
Community Hall. The program
committee, Mrs. Dan Tiffin,
Mrs. Jim Currie and Mrs. Frank
Ross is in charge and will have
the Y.P.S. play, "A Mad
Breakfast". It was decided to
invite the home economist,
Mrs. Donna Mae Holm to the
February 12th Women's Institute
meeting to be held at the home
of Mrs. Victor Emerson.
Mrs. Russel Ross gave the
motto, "Don't wait for spring,
do it now". Due to so much
sorrow she said if we wish to
sympathize with those who
have lost loved ones, we should
try to get them to talk about
them and if they do shed a few
tears they will be the better for
it. She displayed articles made
from javex bottles which were
decorated for flower pots. She
suggested early house cleaning
in late January or early Febru-
ary, and asked that people then
pack warm clothing that is not
needed and give it to the Sal-
vation Army. Pack Christmas
cards, old nylons, print patches
and take them to The Advance -
Times and they will be sent to
Goderich Ontario Hospital. De -
