WINS CONTEST
Terry, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Ross, aged 4, placed
tenth in the London Free Press
colouring contest and will re-
ceive a Christmas stocking as
his prize.
Make Festive
Holiday Bibs
In anticipation of messy
cranberry sauce spills, why not
make gay yet practical bibs
that will keep baby in a party
mood and spanking clean too.
Fabrilite vinyl is the ideal ma-
terial to use for it can be
bought by the yard in a range of
vivid Colors and patterns and
can be wiped with a damp
cloth at the scene of the acci-
dent.
Cut the bibs in the shape of
a bell or snowman and bind the
neck edge with bias tape which,
extended, can also serve as ties,
The remaining edges need only,
be trimmed with pinking sheers
for the vinyl won't fray.
To further decorate the bib,
a holiday motif such aka holly
sprig is easy to spray on. First
draw the outline of the design
on cardboard, cut it out and -
voila1- a stencil which you can
use over and over again. Plac-
ed flat on the plastic and spray-
ed with a quick -drying spray,
in gold or silver, the result is
an attractive bib that will last
throughout the entire holiday
season.
If the family is coming home
for Christmas, Grandma may
want to have several on hand
for the grandchildren.
Most places become the land
of promise just before election
day.
