opened the meeting by welcom-
ing all present and the member

were sung. The Scripture was
read by Mrs. H. D. MacDonald
and the meditation given by

read the minutes, A thank you
note was read from Mrs. Dus-
tan Beecroft for cards and treats
sent her while ill. Arrange-
ments were made for the Pres-
byterial meeting to he held
January 14th in Wingham.

report of the directors of East
Huron District statim; the reso-
lutions that were brought for-
ward.

story of the life of Charles
D'ckens as speaker, writer, ac-
tor, and publisher, with refer-
ence to his Christmas stories and
his delight in Christmas.
Mrs. Alex. Corrigan played
piano solos, including Christ-
mas songs.
Members were asked to bring
samples of their favorite cook-
ies and these were served for
refreshments.

munity last week.

ceremony in St. Paul's United
Church, Brampton. On Sunday

sins, Misses Pearl and Annie
