Men's Styles
Have a
Lighter Look
It's out of the dark and into
the light for men this winter as
men's fashions trend toward the
"light and bright' look. Men's
tailored clothes will move away
from the dominating blacks and
dark tones into an era of silvery
grays, rich iridescents, silver-
ed browns and blues.
The two -button suit in count-
less interpretations becomes the
fashion front runner, backed by
the classic three -button models
and the high -style one -button
ideas.
Sportswear waves a red flag
for fall and winter, presenting
shades from the brightest fire-
men's red to deep, deep bur-
gundy. These colors will dom-
inate most segments of the
sportswear field.
The classic look will be an
important factor in the styling
picture throughout.

Irene and Her Auntie Sue
First if you can't help me,
I'll understand, because it is a
very big and difficult thing I
am going to ask of you. Can
you put out an S.O.S. for my
lost Auntie Sue. She is some-
where in Canada. Mum lost
contact with her before the war.
It seems they both moved at the
same time. The last address of
Auntie Sue was 153 Fifth Aven-
ue, Verdun, Montreal. I know
it's Mum's dearest wish to hear
from her. I know Mum has no
money to put out an advert.
Auntie Sue does not know I
have a small sister age 4, two
brothers and myself all in the
same world with her. If there
is someone you know of that
could help find her and you
have been very good to read
this letter, all I can do for you
is pray for you and all your
kindness. If there is ever any-
thing you want that seems im-
possible, let me know, and I
will pray for you. I shall not
tell anyone about this letter, it
is just our secret and I hope
that you ger it. Thank you
ever so much.
Yours truly,
Irene Wadding.
God Bless You•"
