Deadline dates for Christmas
mail for Canada's Armed For-
ces serving overseas have been
announced by the Royal Can-
adian Postal Corps.
Ordinary letter mail address-
ed to the United Kingdom and
Europe must reach Montreal by
Dec. 10. Air parcel post for
England should be in Montreal
not later than Dec. 12 but two
days earlier if addressed to
Europe, the Middle East and
the Congo,
Air mail letters to Britain
must reach Montreal by Dec.
16 and Dec. 12 if going to
Europe. Ordinary parcel post
and newspapers addressed to the
United Kingdom must be in
Montreal by Nov, 25 while Nov
28 is the final date for Europe.
Ordinary letters, parcels and
newspapers must reach Montreal
by Dec. 7 if they are to arrive
in the Middle East and the Con-
go in time for Christmas. For
airmail letters to these destin-
ations Dec. 12 is the deadline.

When sending air mail let-
ters and air parcel post to Indo-
china via Box 220, Saigon, post
not later than Nov. 30.
A special airlift service to
send one parcel to each mem-
ber of the Canadian Delegation
to Indochina has been arranged
and next-of-kin have been noti-
fied.
For last Christmas' airlift,
the Armed Forces Postal Ser-
vices shipped over 7,000 bags
of mail weighing approximately
a quarter of a million pounds.
Postal authorities have an-
nounced that particular care
should be taken to ensure that
all mail for Canadian Forces
overseas is properly addressed
and fully prepaid at the author-
ized rates of postage. A cus-
toms declaration form 91Bmust
be completed and affixed to
all parcels.

serving as interim pastor of the
Kenmore and Russell Baptist
churches which are located
about 20 miles south of Ottawa.

week for Chatham, N.B. ,
where he will be stationed for
some time.
