McPherson Garage Shows 19b4 Acadian
Acadian for 1964 introduces an all-new automobile as the top three series in the line. The new
car — the Beaumont -- comes in a new size, 10 inches longer than other Acadian -- and a
new price range. In a trim overall size that is shorter, ,narrower and lower than regular size
cars, Acadian Beaumont offers virtually full-size Iuxury car roominess plus smooth, level
ride and fine -car feel. Most Acadian Beaumont interior dimensions are well within one inch
of regular models. The long, low, uncluttered look is stressed and the new series is identified
as a member of the Pontiac family by the divided grille. The top three in Acadian are now
Beaumont Sport Deluxe, shown here in the coupe which is equipped with bucket seats and
floor'mounted shift, the Beaumont Custom and the Beaumont.

and the Acadian Canso," he said.
"The Beaumont is 16 inches
shorter than most regular -size
automobiles and 3.5 inches nar-

are well within an inch of the
larger size cars," Mac pointed

ferent .models in the three series,
we were told, including conver-
tibles, sport models, sedans and
station wagons.
