The service CKNX has given to the people of Western Ontario
and to Wingham in particular, is hightiy commendable and we,
along with many others, certainly appreciate it.
We would like to voice our appreciation also to "Doc" Cruick-
shank for having restored the Lyceum Theatre to Wingham movie
goers. Wingham needs a theatre with quality movies and we
commend him for taking care of this need.

CGIT to Collect
At Hallowe'en
BELGRAVE—The regular
meeting of the Belgrave C.G.
I.T. was held in the church
schoolroom on Friday, when
Wendy Fear led in games. The
meeting opened with the sing-
ing of the C.G.I.T. Hymn,
followed by purpose, basic
Scripture and unison prayer.
Ruth Michie led in a •sing -song.
Donna Grasby gave the call to
worship, followed by a hymn.
Nancy VanCamp read the Scrip•
ture, and Donna Grasby gave a
short meditation. Mary Ellen
Walsh and Joan Bosman receiv-
ed the offering and Nancy Van -
Camp dedicated it. Hymn
"Come Ye Thankful People
Conte" was sung and Nancy
VanCamp closed with prayer.
Donna Grasby read the
minutes of the last meeting and
Sunday School and Church at-
tendance were recorded. Mrs.
A. Jackson gave the treasurer's
report. The election of of-
ficers followed: Pres., Donna
Grasby; vice-pres., Audrey
Coultes; sec., Nancy Van-
Camp; asst., Margaret Nichol-
son; treas., Joyce Procter;
pianist, Doreen Pattison; press
reporter, Wendy Fear.
It was decided that the
group would again collect for
UNICEF and that they would
have a Hallowe'en party at the
home of one of the leaden.
Stuffed animals will be made
to sell at the annual church
bazaar in November. Next
meeting will be on Oct. 25
with Doreen Pattison in charge
of games and Wendy Pear in
charge of the worship service.
