this week -end at the home of
the latter's brother, Mr, Gus-
h= Johnston. On Sunday,
Mrs. Cecil Chamney, Wing-
ham, Mr, and Mrs,Sam Thomp-
son and family, and many other
relatives from Seaforth, Clin-
ton and Auburn, gathered at
the home Af Mr, and Mrs. John-
ston, Mrs, Moore will spend
this week with relatives here,
Mr, and Mrs, Hugh Simp-
son and ,family enjoyed a trip
to Sudbury over the week -end
and visited with Rev, and Mrs,
Derwyn Hill, formerly of the
manse, here, and with Mr. and
Mrs. Chas, Moore and family
at Estelle. They found the
scenery very colourful at this
time of year. •
Mr, Clarence Adams and
Mr. David Gibbs had the water -
pipes from the village well, in-
stalled in their homes on Mon-
day.
Mr. and Mrs, George Thomp
son of Feversham spent a few
days this week at the Watt
home in the village,
Miss Muriel Moore of West-
ern University, London, spent
the week -end at her home
here, coming and returning
with Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Watt,
who spent the week -end at
their cottage at Port Elgin.
Mr. and Mrs. George Solo-
man and family of Horning's
Milts visited on Sunday at the
home of his brother, Mr. Robt,
Soloman.

mons of London spent Saturday
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Chas. Martin, and with Wing -
ham relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Russell
and her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Edwin Smyth, who spent last
week visiting with Mr. and Mrs,
Wilbert Russell of Logieville,
near Chatham, New Brunswick,
and with his grandmother, Mrs,
W. D, Russell, arrived home
on Saturday. •
