WHAT'S IN A NAME?
Many advertisements pre-
cede the news which we hear
over both Radio and TV. One
of them which is familiar to us
all has a little ditty about a
girl named Mabel. The song

conveys no interest for me; but
the name MABEL has come to
bear significance which I shall
pass on to you with the hope
that she will give to you as
much inspiration as she now
gives to me.
What is in the name, MABEL?
M — Measure your life with
that of Christ.
A — Abstain from all appear-
ance of evil.
B — Begin each day with God.
E — Exercise Christian will
power.
L — Live each day as if it were
your last.
Place this little Serrnonette
beside your set; so that when
you listen to the boys lauding
MABEL, you can readily glance
over these five points to your
own edification.
For this Dltty may give you a
lift
When you find that your mind
is adrift:
Now these Five Points from
Mabel
Will keep you quite stable;
If, the chaff from the grain,
you will sift.
