Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sles-
ser and Connie of Glamis and
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cook of
Marnoch were in London on
Thursday and visited with the
latter's grandson, little Robert
White, who is a student at the
Salvation Army village there.
Garry Willis, who for the
past year has attended the Radio
College in Toronto, received
word on Tuesday that he
successfully passed his exams
with 78% on the first term work
and 79% on the second term.
He has been employed for the
past two weeks in Streetsville.
His many friends here congrat-
ulate him on his good work.

CONFIRMED AT FORDWICH—A group of 17 candidates
was confirmed into the Anglican faith by H. F. Apple -
yard, Bishop of Georgian Bay, at Trinity Church, Ford-
wich, last Sunday afternoon. The candidates came from
the three-point charge of Fordwich, Gorrie and Wrox-

spent the week -end in Toronto
visiting relatives, and also at-
tended a wedding at Islington.
