to win that series 3 games to 1.
This game was forfeited in the
fifth inning because Blyth would
not field a team after a des-
puted call after which two
Blyth players were ejected from

Careless Handling
Of Wild Animals
On Tuesday, July 30th, fif-
teen adults and children took a
raccoon which they had found
near the water, to Conservation
Officer M, Marr of Lion's Head.
The raccoon was shivering
and would not pay any attention
to anyone, which is unusual
with wildlife. Dr. Cornish of
Chesley was notified and went
to Lion's Head for the raccoon.
It is not advisable to pick
up and handle wildlife under
these circumstances, particular-
ly in an area such as this where
rabies has been so prevelant in
recent years. The risk these
15 persons took is considerable.

Midgets Feature
Little men have been famous
throughout history. For in-
stance, there have been David,
Napoleon, the Seven Dwarfs,
to mention a few, all of whom
have, on occasion, made their
heftier contemporaties look to
their laurels.
Just because a guy has trou-
ble looking over a fire -plug
without standing on a city dir-
ectory doesn't mean a thing.
A striking example of this is the
midget wrestlers. There is a
quartet of these famous small
chaps hereabouts at the present
time and it would be difficult
to find athletes of any dimen-
sions who are more popular with
their fans.
