Dr. D. R. Copeland
Dies at Grimsby
GORRIE—Donald Robert
Copeland, D.D.S., a former
resident of Gorrie, died sud-
denly at West Lincoln Mem-
orial Hospital, Grimsby, fol-
lowing a heart attack on Sun-
day, July 7. He was in his
41st year.
The Copeland family resid-
ed here when the father, Rev.
Robert Copeland, was minister
of the United Church. Donald
attended Wingham High School.
He is survived by his wife,
the former Roberta Clare
Duthie; four children, Bruce,
Ricky, Craig and Margaret
Louise, all at home; his par-
ents, Rev. and Mrs. Copeland,
and a brother, Dr. George
Copeland, all of London.
Funeral service was held at
Trinity United Church with
interment in Queen's Lawn
Cemetery. Memorial dona-
tions, in lieu of flowers, were
for the Trinity United Church
Organ Fund.
