Sick Neighbor
Art Edgar of R. R. 4, Wing -
ham, was taken to Victoria
Hospital, London a week ago
Sunday, suffering from the ef-
fects of shots for rabies. The
neighbours turned out with their
tractors and spreaders while he
was in hospital, and cleaned
up the barnyard, picked stones,
put up some fences and finished
putting steel roofing on the
barn.
At the Hospital
Patients admitted to Hospi-
tal during the week, were from,

Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Laviolette
and family of Scarborough were
recent week -end visitors with
Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Irwin of
Belgrave. They also visited
with Mr, and Mrs. Bill Irwin
and on Sunday all enjoyed a
family dinner at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Scott Reid.
--Friends of Mrs. Gibson
Armstrong (the former Gwen
Irwin) of London, will be pleas-
ed to know that she,has returned
home after five months in Vic-
toria Hospital.
--Mr. and Mrs. Alkin Hast-
ings moved last week -end from
Francis Street, to the home of
the late Miss Violet Showers,
Maple Street.
—Mrs. Archie Scott and her
daughter, Ada, of Exeter, visit-
ed Sunday with Mrs. Mark Gard-
ner.
--Mr. and Mrs. Fred David-
son and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ben-
nett and children, spent Sun-
day at the cottage, at Bruce

visitors were Miss Tony Tanan

ed the graduation exercises of
the Stratford General Hospital
School of Nursing, at the Strat-
ford Shakespearean Festival
Theatre on Saturday, when a
grand -niece of the former,
Miss Marilyn Finlayson, was
one of the graduates.
