Lightning Bolt
Creates Havoc
Mrs. Reta Drehmann of
Wingham witnessed a scene of
destruction recently when she
visited her father's farm north of
Teeswater. A large cherry tree
had been struck by a lightning
bolt of such force that pieces of
the tree were scattered over the
entire area of a field. Some of
the sections of the trunk and big
branches had ripped into the
standing trees in an adjacent
bush.
