Women's Institute catered on
Tuesday night in the Memorial
Hall, for fifty of the Institute
ladies and their friends from
the St. Helens Institute. These
ladies enjoy their annual night
out, at a banquet.

Wednesday with Mr. Sinnamon,
who is now a patient in West -
minter Hospital, London.

a heart seizure.

to return home from Wingham
Hospital on Monday, after al-
most two weeks in Hospital
with pneumonia.

Victoria Hospital over the
week -end, and on Friday had
an operation on his face. His

were in London to visit with
him on Sunday.

of London spent the week -end

went through a tonsilectomy in
Wingham Hospital on Thursday
last.

now man on Saturday, after he
had slipped into the stream
that flows there. Two play-
mates failed in their attempt to
pull him out of the water.

Four Members to Graduate
BELGRAVE--The C.G.I.T,
group of Knox United Church,
held its regular meeting in the
church basement on Friday,
Brenda Coultes led in games.
President Marilyn Campbell
opened the meeting with the
C,G.I.T. hymn, followed by
the purpose, Scripture and
prayer, Helen Anderson read
the minutes and Sunday school
and church attendance were
recorded. Ruth Michie gave
the treasurer's report. Next
meeting will be May 3, with
worship in charge of Wendy
Fear, and Brenda VanCamp to
take the games.
The rally was announced for
Saturday in Wingham. The
graduation service is to take
place at the rally in the eve-
ning. Ruth Michie, Marie
Coultes, Helen Anderson and
Marilyn Campbell are to grad-
uate from Belgrave.
The girls were asked to
again collect old nylons to send
to Korea. A motion was made
that the group sent $17 75 to
missions.
They then divided into
Final Euchre
BELGRAVE—The last euchre
of the season was held in the
community centre, with 10
tables in play. High lady's
prize was won by Mrs. Laura
Johnston on a cut with Mrs,
Harold Procter. Harold Proc-
ter, won the high man's prize.
Low prizes were won by Mrs,
Herson Irwin and Earl Noble.
Novelty prize winners were
Mrs. Gershom Johnston and
Jesse Wheeler.
It was decided to start the
euchres two weeks earlier next
fall, on October 23rd. Thirty
dollars was voted to the build-
ing fund for the new arena.
The election of officers was
held over till the first meeting
in the fall.
Mr. and Mrs. Yuill
Wed 25 Years
BELGRAVE—About 30 friends
and neighbours of Mr. and Mrs.
Bert Yuill, gathered at their
home on Saturday evening to
honor them on their 25th wed-
ding anniversary, which was on
April 23.
Progressive euchre was en-
joyed with prizes going to Miss
Annie Baker and Mrs. Chester
Higgins for high, and Bert Yuill
and Clark Thynne for low.
Ernie Pletch made a presen-
tation to Mr. and Mrs. Yuill of
a trilight lamp and the address
was read by Denis Langridge.
Mr. and Mrs. Yuill replied.
Lunch was served.

on Sunday with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Jas. McInnis.

and Donna led in prayer. The
