They all spent the week -end at Aylmer with Miss Watson, returning home on Sunday with Mr. 1 Beecroft and Jimmie. Mr. and Mrs. Melville Beecroft, of Qtterville, who with their sons spent the holidays on a trip around Lake Erie and down to Kentucky, also visited at the Watson home in Aylmer on •Sunday. Thompson, Goderich, and with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Robin- son. On Monday they attended the funeral of her father, Mr, Bain McDonald of Lochalsh, at Lucknow. Mrs. Roy Robinson's father, W. A. Humphrey of St. Helens is in Wingham Hospital after having part of his finger severed in a farm accident, with ma- chinery. Mrs. W. A, Humph- rey is a patient in Victoria • Hospital, London. Little Stephen Robinson has been laid up with measles. Mrs. Roger Inglis and Mr. • George Inglis visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bie- man. Mrs. Wm. Henry spentMon- day in London, and Miss Frances and Miss Phyllis O'Brien returned home with her for two weeks' vacation. Mrs. Ben McClenaghan accompanied her to Exeter and is staying a few days at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Parker. Mr, Lloyd Gollan of Toronto spent a few days this week at the home of his sister, Mrs. Carl McClenaghan. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Chamney and Sandra spent the Easter week -end with Mr. and Mrs. G. A. MacLaughlin of Detroit. Miss Claire Chamney spent that week -end in New York. Miss Margaret McMillan of Kitchener spent the week -end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick McMillan and she and Paul Geiger, who had spent the week with Mr. and Mrs. Ben McClenaghan, re- turned to Kitchener on Sunday with Barry Tiffin. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Coultes and baby Debra spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Pipe of Brussels. Mrs. John Haggitt, who spent the winter months with relatives here, returned to her home in Brussels on Saturday. Mr. Derwyn Hill of the Presbyterian manse, finished writing his exams at Knox College, last Thursday. Little David, who had been visiting with his grandparents at Hamil- ton, returned home with Mr. Hill. Mr, and Mrs. Carl Pederson and baby, Karen, spent the week -end with relatives at London. Mr. Leonard Coyne of Wind- sor spent the week -end with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Taylor, and Mrs. Coyne and the child- ren, who had spent the holiday week with Robinson relatives in this district, returned home on Sunday. Mr. Alan Coffin of Kitchen- er spent the week -end here with Mrs. Coffin and their children, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Coffin. Mr. Kenneth Coultes of Unionville spent the week -end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Coultes. Miss Ruth Ann Taylor and Miss Claire Chamney accompanied him back to Toronto on Sunday, after spending the holidays at their respective homes here. Mr. Thos. Morrison returns to Westminster Hospital, Lon- don, on Thursday for a few days. Mrs. J. Musgrove and Mrs. D. Willis visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Mitchell of Molesworth. Garry Willis and Wayne Henry of Toronto, spent the week -end at their respective homes here. Mr. and Mrs. Hector Purdon and family of Sarnia spent the week -end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Prudon, Lucknow and with Mr. and Mrs. Jack MacIntyre, Wing- harn. Barry Gillespie returned home to Sarnia with them. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Jack - lin and little daughters, of Wingham, moved last week- end to the house on the former Godkin farm. Mr, and Mrs. Edwin Smyth and Doreen visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Sam Smyth of Mitchell. Bill Smyth spent the wce,c-end with Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Russell of Wood- stock. Mr. and Mrs. Walter liurl- burt of Tottingham visited on Happenings Thursday with Mr. and Mrs, Wesley Tiffin, Mr. and Mrs. Mylis McMillan of Tceswatcr visited on Thursday at the Tiffin home. Mrs. Wm. Dawson, Mr, and Mrs. Wesley Tiffin and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Purdon were in London on Saturday and visited with Mr. Thos. Purdon, who has been a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, over the week -end. Mr. and Mrs. John Stacey and Bill, of Wingham, and Mrs. Cecil Falconer spent the week -end at Sernia, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Relison Falconer, and with other rela- tives there. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Schef- ter and family spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mar- tin, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Schefter of Kitchener. Miss Bridgetta O'Malley,of St. Joseph's Hospital, Sarnia, visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Thos. O'Malley. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Pattison and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pattison, Doreen and Donald, spent Sun- day at Forest with Mr, and Mrs. Gerald Watson. Mr, and Mrs. Mac Cardiff of Brussels visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rin- toul and Mrs. Rintoul and the girls spent Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Caldwell, Blyth. Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher and children spent the week- end with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Fisher of Owen Sound. Mr. Jas. Falconer and Lois spent the week -end at Caledon with Mr, and Mrs, Elgin Wel- wood. Mr. Wilfred Walters of Cul- ross recently sold his farm, but is putting in the crop this year. The U.C.W. of the United Church will meet next Wednes- day at the home of Mrs. Rus- sell Purdon. Mr. and Mrs. Truman Bcat- ty of Toronto are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Martin for a few days this week. Mrs. Norrish and Mrs. Mary Galbraith of Detroit spent the week -end with the latter's sister, Mrs. Mina McRiteltie, and brother, Jas. H. Currie. Mrs. Galbrai th, who graduated as a nurse in 1926, is planning to retire from Harper hospital the end of June. Rev. Robt. Watt and sons of Toronto spent a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Mil- lan Moore. Mr. and Mrs. George Thompson and sons of Feversham, also spent a few days at the Moore home. Mr. Russell Chapman, Garry and James Wilson, Mr. Wesley Tiffin and Ernest Beecroft, as school bus drivers, attended a convention in Toronto last Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gros- korth of Toronto spent the week -end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Groskorth. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Caslick visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. David McAllister of Cul- ross. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Smith of Toronto were attending a con- vention in Atlantic City this week -end. Kathy and Bradley Smith spent the week -end with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Chapman.
