The choir rendered a special ,'3them, Sunday visitors with Mr, and Mrs. Anson Demerling were Mrs. J. C. Schinbein and family and Miss Elaine Peppier and Harry Tromp of Mitchell and Mr. and Mrs. Val Schin- bein of Listowel. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Robinson returned home last week from a six weeks` trip to Florida and the Southern States, Mrs. Emma Williamson is spending this week at the home of Mr, and Mrs, Bruce William- son in London. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Harris and family of Brownsville spend John Gamble. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Benin, Dawn and Michael of Waterloo spent the week -end with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Moore. Mr. and Mrs. Jack BrieKer and family of Kitchener were Sunday visit- ors at the same home, Mrs. Earl Moore returned with Mr, and Mrs. Benin and will spend several days in Waterloo. Mr, and Mrs, Harvey Bride and Peter of Toronto are spend- ing this week at the home of Mr, and Mrs, Harold Doig. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Baryons and Miss Ardyth Campbell of Cordova Mines and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Patterson of Toronto spent the holiday week -end at the home of Mrs. Pearl Patter- son. Mr. and Mrs. W, A. Gibson and Garfield spent the holiday week -end with relatives in Flint, Michigan. Some of the school children are not enjoying the Easter Good Friday at the home of Mr. I holidays too much. Mrs. Henry Espensen under- went an appendectomy in Palm erston Hospital last Wednesday. Pat Harris Is CGIT Hostess FORDWICH— The C. G.1. T. members met at the home of Pat Harris on Monday night when the meeting opened with the national anthem, Lord's prayer, purpose and answer. The roll call was answered by 26 girls, The minutes were read and business was duscussed, The next meeting will be at the home of Margaret Ann Wilson. The girls discussed a poss- ible speaker for the mother and daughter banquet to be held May 20th. The worship ser- vice was led by Marg. Wilson and Janey Hambly, followed by the Bible study, led by Pat Harris. Lunch was served by 'Prix Winkel, Peggy Gibson, Nancy Neil and Ruth Ann Taylor, The meeting closed with Taps, Celebrate 25th Anniversary FORDWICH—Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd R. Jacques, 12th Con. Howick, recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a family dinner in Trinity Anglican Church, where: they are active members. The members of St. Anne's Guild served a sumptuous dinner to about 40 guests. Mrs. Jacques, the former Elva M. Dane, daughter of Mr. W. H. Dane of Gorrie and the late Mrs. Dane, and Lloyd R, Jacques, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Holds Meeting FORDWICH—The regular meeting of Trinity W.A. was held in the basement of the church, with the president, Mrs. Elsie Strong, presiding. She opened the meeting with a hymn, followed by the Scrip- ture reading. An invitation was read, to attend the St. Anne's Guild meeting on Thursday night, Wingham Advance -Times, Thursday, April 18, 1963 -, Page S when the guest speaker will be Miss Wendy Russel of London. An invitation was also received to attend the 25th wedding an' niversary of Mr. and Mrs, Lloyd Jacques, A letter was read from Mr. Harold Webster, saying he would speak on his life in the Artie.
