Mr. Earl Ridley of Loudon
spent a few days last weak at
his home here,
Little Miss Lori Riddell of
Barrie visited last week at the
home of her grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Stan Bride.
A Teen Record flop was held
in the community hall Friday
night, Garfield Gibson got the
door prize and Miss Sharon 1'sl-
liott and Gary Sothern got the
spot dance prize,
Sunday visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. Ross Doig were Mr. and
Mrs. Don Doig and girls and
Mr, John Woods and sons of
Galt.
Mr. Paul Schaefer, who has
been attending the Provincial
Institute of Trades in Toronto,
was successful in passing his
exams in drafting.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hibberd
and Mr. Wm. Boehler, spent
Sunday with Mr. and Mrs.
Harvey Timm in Bluevale.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Witmer
and family of Waterloo visited
on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Bast.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mani -
net spent one day last week in
Kitchener.
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn John-
son spent a couple days last
week in Kitchener.
Mr. and Mrs. Wellington
l largrave, Douglas and David
visited Sunday with Mr, and
Mrs. Norman Stirling in Ltstow-
el.
Mr. and Mrs. Nell Baylor
and faintly of Burlington spent
the week -end with Mr. and
Mrs. Raymond Baylor,
Mrs. R. Douglas and Brian
of Kincardine spent the week-
end with Mr. and Mrs. Jim
Douglas. The latter remained
and will finish the school term
here.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Moore
visited Sunday with Mr. and

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Chio-
tney and Janie of Port Colborne
spent the week -end with Mr,

remained for Iwo weeks.

Mrs. T. D. Bonnett
Bereft of Husband
WROXETER-Thomas David
Bonnett of near Glamis, died
on February 16 in Parkwood
Hospital, London. He had
been a hospital patient for the
past two years, following an
accident when he fell from a
scaffold in a barn. He suffered
a broken back at that time.
He was a son of Mrs. Mabe
Bonnett and the late Thomas
Bonnett, and was born in Kin-
cardine Township 43 years ago.
His wife, the former Alice
Moore of Wroxeter and one son,
Ivan Thomas, about three years,
survive.
Other survivors are his mo-
ther, brothers Charles and
James of Kincardine Township
and sisters, Mrs. Wallace
Woods, Mrs, Aston Woods, Mrs
Oscar Hask, all of Kincardine
Township and Mrs. Norman
Erb of Culross Township.
Funeral was on February 19
from the Linklater funeral
home in Kincardine with Canon
W.R. Stump officiating.
Pallbearers were Harvey Mc-
Leod, Burton Escrick, Bill Mc-
Dougall, John Reid, Ernie
Grier and George Sawelwell.
Flower bearers were Eddie,
Donald, Gary, and Leonard
Woods, Charles, Walter, Tho-
mas and Joseph Moore.

Mrs. Wilbur Gannet has
been visiting for a week in
Toronto.
Mrs. Ira Hertfelder, of Tor-
onto, has been staying with
Mrs. Jos. Horton.

Met Tuesday
LAKELET- The February
meeting of the MacBel Friend-
ship Club was held on Tuesday
evening in the McIntosh Church
parlor.
A short devotional meeting
was held, followed by a pro-
