cates the work that went into
the costumes worn at the Ford-
wich carnival. From the left are
Mrs. Jack Wilson, Fordwich;
Mrs. George Richards, Harris -
ton; Minnie McElwain, Ford-
wich; Nancy Gedcke, Kurtzville,
and Cathy Gibson, St. Cathar-
ines.
ELAINE FAUST, of Kurtzville,
placed second, and Lise Espan-
sen, of Fordwich, first, in the
class for girls' fancy costumes
in the six to twelve year group.
THESE THREE LASSIES were
the prize winners in the pre-
school age class at the ice car-
nival. Shelly Lynn Bowman, of
Listowel, centre, in her Valen-
tine costume was first; Brenda
McCann, left, placed second,
and Karen Miller, right, was
third.
IN THE CLASS for boys under
school age this group won the
prizes. Rickey McCann, left, won
first prize; Tony Holland, was
fourth; Mike Lozicki, third, (the
latter two hail from Brantford);
and Steve Bowman, Listowel,
was second.
THE PRIZES FOR FANCY cos-
tumes for boys between six and
twelve years of age went to this
pair of lads. On the left is
Charlie Gibson, of Gorrie, who
won first place, and on the right
is Billy Richards, of Harriston,
second.
A BROTHER -SISTER team were
two of the many well-dressed
skaters at the Fordwich ice
carnival Saturday evening. They
are Paul Schaefer, of Fordwich,
and Mrs. Marlene Roseman, of
Brantford.
GUESS WHO?—The two mon-
sters on the left in clown attire
skated in the Fordwich carni-
val on Saturday. They are Keith
Montgomery, of Wingham, and
II Anson Ruttan, of Fordwich.
