COMPETITION
The March 1990 issue of The Rural
Voice will feature art, writing, and
poetry by young people in the fol-
lowing age groups:
7 and under
8 to 11
12 to 16
AWARDS IN EACH CATEGORY
First prize: $20
Second prize: $10
Third prize: $8
Competition Rules:
1. Entries must be original and the sole
work of the contestant.
2. Artwork must by 81/2by11 inches or
11 by 14 inches. No pencil or blue pen
please — drawings in pencil and blue
pen are difficult to reproduce.
3. Each submission requires the contest-
ant's name, age, address, telephone, and
school (if submitted through a school).
4. Entries will be judged on age cate-
gory, originality, style, neatness, and
relevance to rural life.
5. Deadline is February 7, 1990
