The variable, two -speed design lets
the operator select the right speed for
any crop condition. Cylinder speed can
be adjusted on the go to match crop
conditions as they change during the
day.
The cab is air-conditioned and con-
trols are within easy reach. Conven-
ience items include tilt -steering, dual
mirrors, hourmeter, ammeter, oil pres-
sure gauge, engine temperature gauge,
and cylinder tachometer.
New flexible cutterbar headers with
hydraulic header height control, quick -
attach grain tables, and a new series of
corn heads give farmers the ability to
match the M -F 5650 combine to the crop
quickly and easily.
The M -F 9600 flexible bottom head-
ers get down under low -growing soy-
beans as the cutterbar flexes into low
spots and rises over ridges for ground -
hugging cutting.
Hydraulic variable speed -reel drive
and reel lift add to harvesting perform-
ance and ease of operation. Forged steel
knife guards resist bending and break-
ing, and the knife is driven by an oil -
immersed wobble box moulded di-
rectly on the cutterbar for a fast, clean
cut at high forward speed.
Farmers can choose from three M -F
9600 flexible cutter headers — 13' 8",
15' 3", and 19' — to match the header to
field conditions and crop.
The M -F 1100 Series corn heads
feature low -angle snapping units with
long, low snouts to slide under low,
tangled corn and gently guide it into the
snapping rolls. In dry, fluffy harvest
conditions, the auger trough with deep
auger flighting moves the crop through
in a hurry.
The M -F 1144 four -row and M -F
five -row corn heads are offered in 36",
38", and 40" row spacings. The M -F
1163 six -row corn head adjusts to row
widths of 28" and 30".0
BOU-MATIC®Milk Sentry -end -of -milking indicators, because...
Time Is Mon
Finish milking faster ...
The Bou -Matic Milk Sentry indicator flashes its lights
and beeps when the cow is done milking, so you spend
less time checking cows, have less overmilking, and get
done faster.
... and improve udder health ...
Less overmilking reduces liner slippage, and research has
shown liner slippage to be a cause of mastitis. Also, with
the Milk Sentry indicator, you (and everyone else) can
milk cows consistently — the same way, every time.
