For profit or just for the fun of it, local interest in beekeeping is rising. Beginning in the spring,
this summer short course comprised of four monthly meetings teaches the how to's of honey
• bee management. Meetings coincide with care requirements such as disease prevention,
'swarm prevention, queen production and extraction of honey.
