25 to 26 — The oldest schoolhouse in
Perth County celebrates its 135th anni-
versary with a reunion, open house, and
historical dedication. The program fea-
tures: special guests, local talent, open-
air dance, ball games, church service,
and children's activities. Among the
special guests will be James C. Reaney,
poet and playwright, reading from his
works, and Hugh Edighoffer, local MPP
and Speaker of the House. To reach the
museum from Stratford, proceed to the
north end of Romeo Street, turn right
(east), and travel three miles. Please
bring your own lawn chairs and picnic
lunch, or a light lunch will be available
for sale. Everyone is welcome.
27 to September 5 — Rural Reflections:
Portraits of a Century, a photography
exhibition at the Ontario Agricultural
Museum. Entries to be received by the

features the latest techniques in soil and
water conservation including 100 ex-
hibitors, an innovators corner, a display
featuring highlights of the 1949 conser-
vation farming event held in Brooklin,
Ontario, wagon and walking tours, dem-
onstrations, speakers, information tents,
and a mock woodlot auction. The 200 -
acre site is at the Woodstock Research
Station: exit #232 off Highway 401, go
north on #59 until you reach county road

associations, and government and edu-
