the best it has been for seven or eight
years. We will definitely run out of
some equipment.
BUSINESS CHANGES: We stock
fewer machines and try to pre -sell
units.
TRENDS AND INNOVATIONS: Our
Kubota and Massey -Ferguson tractors
are the most modern in the market-
place today, eg. electronics and front -
wheel drive systems.
BUYING PATTERNS: Farmers are
buying ahead of season rather than
waiting until the last minute.
ADVICE ON EQUIPMENT CARE:
Annual service inspections are
imperative.
PROGNOSIS: I feel that discounts on
machinery are near the end. Some
companies have stopped now. I look
for free trade to help our market, as
our farmers will have no restrictions
on their goods.0
